By accessing or using our website (www.verevitae.com), booking a retreat, or visiting our property, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Vere Vitae offers wellness retreats, educational programs, and related content through its website, properties, and affiliated partners.

2. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent.

3. Booking & Payment

• Retreat bookings are confirmed upon receipt of deposit or full payment.
• All payments are processed securely via approved third-party providers.
• Guests agree to our Refund & Cancellation Policy, available on the website.

4. Property Access & Guest Responsibility

By entering or staying at the Vere Vitae property, you acknowledge and accept the following:

• The property includes natural  terrain (steep areas, uneven ground, natural pools, etc.) and native wildlife (including dogs and snakes). Caution is required at all times.
• Activities such as walking,  hiking, swimming, cycling, or other recreation are undertaken at your own risk.
• By accessing the property,  you voluntarily assume full responsibility for your personal safety and belongings.
• The property owner(s),  caretakers, and affiliates are not liable for injury, damage, or loss that may occur, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable Italian, EU,      U.S., and international law.

5. Waiver of Liability

Your presence on the property constitutes a release of liability and waiver of all claims against Vere Vitae SRL, its owners, and affiliates, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Vere Vitae website, including text, images, logos, and materials, is the property of Vere Vitae SRL and protected by copyright law. Use without permission is prohibited.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and U.S. privacy standards. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how personal data is collected, used, and protected.

8. Donations

Donations to Vere Vitae currently do not qualify for tax exemptions. As a gesture of gratitude, donors may receive complimentary retreat stays, subject to availability.

9. Travel & Insurance

Guests are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Vere Vitae. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, or unforeseen events.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy and the European Union, with consideration for international consumer protections. Disputes may be resolved in the courts of Cosenza, Italy, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Amendments

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
