"Fleeing the COVID pandemic toxic environment found across big cities in both the US and Europe, in 2020 I acquired eight acres of completely virgin land on a cliff on the southern tip of the Italian Amalfi Coast, in Calabria, and rescued six dogs.
I was sheltered from the virus, healed of a lifetime of urban toxicity and corporate pressure, and found an unexpected, endless life force emanating from mountains, forest, and sea.
As the land healed me, I began to write—a manuscript tracing my journey of aligning body, heart, and spirit with the rhythms of nature and a higher source of energy. In that process, I realized that healing is not meant to be kept, but shared. From this understanding, Vere Vitae was born: through opening a yoga retreat, publishing the manuscript, and reimagining an adjacent abandoned school as a summer academy to nurture balance and harmony early in life.
Together, these three paths form a single mission—to heal, educate, guide, and nurture. The retreats create sacred spaces for renewal, the manuscript shares a lived journey of transformation, and the academy empowers young minds and hearts with tools to honor themselves, embrace nature, and grow into individuals who embody peace and drive positive change.
More than a place, Vere Vitae is an energetic calling—an invitation to live in harmony with self, spirit, and the world."

Faith is a Level 2 Authorized Ashtanga Yoga teacher and the founder of Woodley Park Yoga in Washington, D.C. She studied for decades under Shri K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Jois in Mysore, India, who have taught renowned students such as Madonna, Sting and Gwyneth Paltrow. With humility and reverence, Faith carries forward this sacred lineage through her own devoted practice and instruction.
For over fifteen years, she led Washington’s longest-running Mysore-style Ashtanga program, teaching with presence, patience, and precision. Her approach honors the core Ashtanga tradition: individual instruction within a group setting, making it equally accessible to lifelong practitioners and complete beginners.

For more than twenty years, Faith has been one Giadha's dearest friends, her soul sister, and a constant presence in her journey of healing. Together and apart, they have shared profound experiences of growth, balance, and transformation. While Giadha has often been a driving force, Faith has always been the yin to her yang—a calming presence whose life mission is to heal others and guide souls toward peace and balance.
When her beloved teachers passed, the Universe opened a new door. For the first time in decades, Faith found herself free to explore a new summer path. That opening led her here—to this land, this vision, and this sacred mission.

In addition to her yogic path, Faith is a board-certified hospital chaplain, originally trained in a Level 1 trauma center and now specializing in palliative and end-of-life care. She brings the same compassion, groundedness, and spiritual integrity to her yoga students as she does to her patients—offering guidance, support, and holistic care with deep respect for both tradition and the human spirit.
Together, they welcome you into a practice that unites body, mind, and spirit—a space of remembering, renewal, and radiant becoming.
Frank’s life has been shaped by both profound blessings and deep personal challenges — across health, family, finance, and relationships. These experiences led him to explore the roots of transformation and take full responsibility for his path.
With a background in corporate finance and decades as a serial entrepreneur, Frank eventually turned inward, devoting himself to the study of consciousness, embodiment, and human potential. He is trained in Ashtanga Yoga, Tantra, Kundalini, and Breathwork, and brings a holistic lens to his work in health, vitality, lifestyle optimization, and performance coaching. He also offers guidance in relationship and actualization coaching, always rooted in lived experience

Frank first met Giadha in 2014, at one of the earliest global cannabis business conferences in Austin, Texas. At the time, she was just launching New Frontier Data, Frank became her first institutional investor, and soon after, a trusted mentor and dear friend. Their connection, rooted in vision and integrity, has continued to evolve over the years, shaped by shared values and mutual respect.
Now, in a beautiful alignment of purpose and timing, Frank’s decades-long journey of yogic study and meditation comes into harmony with the Vere Vitae mission. Having studied with renowned teachers across the U.S., Europe, and India, his path has been one of depth, devotion, and embodied wisdom. This convergence brings a profound richness to the retreat experience, offering participants a rare opportunity to learn from a practitioner whose life is a true reflection of the teachings he shares.

Frank studied at USC, Thunderbird, Franklin College (Switzerland), and Menlo College. A father of four and lifelong traveler, he speaks English, Italian, and French, and now lives with intention — walking the path he once only imagined.
Kim is a devoted yoga practitioner and teacher with over 25 years of personal practice and more than a decade of teaching experience. Drawn to yoga as a powerful path of healing and self-discovery, she explored many styles before committing to the transformative tradition of Ashtanga yoga in 2012. Her dedication has taken her to Mysore, India, where she studied with Saraswathi Jois, and continued studying with her and her son Sharath Jois during their teaching tours in the US.
Kim is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and completed her teacher training at YogaWorks in Boston, a program known for its integration of the precise alignment of Iyengar yoga and Ashtanga's breath-centered movement. Rooted in tradition and continually enriched by ongoing study of Ayurveda, pranayama, and meditation, her teaching creates a grounded, holistic space for balance, inquiry, and growth.

Beyond the mat, Kim brings a deep curiosity about humanity and a lifelong commitment to service. She holds a BA in Anthropology and African Studies from St. Lawrence University and an MA in International Development & Social Change from Clark University. Her path has included two years volunteering with the U.S. Peace Corps in Namibia and a decades-long career in international development, working with global organizations such as Oxfam and the Malala Fund, and consulting with institutions including UN Women.

Kim met Giadha through Faith by way of a serendipitous invitation to visit Vere Vitae during one of her summers in Calabria, where she spends time with her partner and his family. From the start, a shared devotion to practice, learning, and community was evident, organically unfolding into her joining the Vere Vitae Family and Journey.
